SEO Setup You Should Do Before Adding Content

These are low-effort, one-time tasks that make future optimization easier:

• Install an SEO Plugin
  Yoast SEO or Rank Math — so every new page/post automatically gets SEO fields.
• Set Your Permalinks
  Go to Settings → Permalinks and choose Post name.
  (So URLs look like yoursite.com/book-title instead of ?p=123.)
• Connect Google Search Console
  So Google starts indexing your site early and you can monitor issues.
• Set Up Your Sitemap
  The SEO plugin will generate one — submit it to Google Search Console.
• Make Sure You Have SSL Enabled
  Your site should be on https:// from the start.
